Message from the 2026 CPAFMA Chair

Dear CPAFMA Members,

It is with honor and excitement that I step into the role of Chair for 2026. My CPAFMA journey began in 2014, thanks to the encouragement of my firm partners who recognized the value of connecting with a community of forward-thinking professionals. Through every career adventure and transition, CPAFMA has remained my anchor helping me grow as a leader, a professional, and a person. The friendships and connections I’ve formed here extend far beyond my professional life, and I am deeply grateful for them. You know who you are!

I am privileged to serve alongside dedicated, like-minded professionals on the Board. These individuals truly embody the spirit of CPAFMA. The relationships I’ve built with board members, past and present, have shaped my career and enriched my life. I am forever grateful for the opportunity to learn from such an inspiring group.

As we look ahead to 2026, I am reminded of the power of community. CPAFMA thrives because of members who rise to meet challenges, share knowledge, and lift each other up. Together, we have weathered change, embraced innovation, and fostered a culture where every member’s voice matters.

This year, our goals are ambitious and motivating. Guided by our CARES framework, we are committed to:

  • Community and Connection (C): We’re making the 2026 Connections Conference a launchpad for new relationships, regional engagement, and meaningful experiences. Whether you’re a first-time attendee or a long-time member, there will be opportunities to connect, share, and grow.
  • Advocate & Elevate (A): We’re rolling out an updated PAFM model and strengthening partnerships with industry leaders. Our collective voices will be louder; our impact will be greater.
  • Resources & Tools (R): We’re committed to delivering actionable resources, templates, guides, and best practices so you can bring real value back to your firms.
  • Education & Knowledge (E): We’re expanding our programming, launching an annual IT survey, and deepening our HR content. Our goal: to help you stay ahead in a rapidly changing landscape.
  • Strategy & Implementation (S): We’re focused on growth, welcoming new members, enhancing onboarding, and ensuring every member finds value and connection within CPAFMA.

I believe in the power of this association because I’ve experienced it firsthand. The support, wisdom, and camaraderie found here are unmatched. As Chair, my commitment is to foster an environment where every member feels empowered to contribute, learn, and lead.

Let’s make 2026 a year of bold action, shared success, and lasting connections. I invite you to engage, participate, and help shape the future of CPAFMA. Together, we can do hard things, and we can do them with purpose, passion, and a little fun along the way.
