Leadership Institute Graduates Class of 2017

The CPA Firm Management Association announced its 2017 Leadership Institute graduates this past month, ultimately providing 19 professionals the opportunity to attend four days of professional development focused on CPA firm practice management. Two, two-day sessions were held with the first in advance of the Association's June National Practice Management Conference in Fort Worth, Texas and the second in Chicago in November.

The four days were led by Bill Reeb, CPA, CITP, CGMA and Dominic Cingoranelli, CPA, CGMA, CMC of Succession Institute.  Designed specifically for firm managers, this high impact program focused on leaders to enhance their key skills.  The program introduced Situational Leadership: Foundational Principles for Managing and Leading Others and provided instruction and an open discussion format for topics including communication, assertiveness, conflict management, negotiation, change management, trends, business models, governance, accountability, developing people and pay.

As graduates of the CPAFMA Leadership Institute, participants will continue to exchange best practices, share experiences and grow personally and professionally through an established alumni community.
