Important Circular 230 Guidance: Should I Drop My Disclaimer?

Last month, the Internal Revenue Service announced new rules regarding Circular 230 disclaimers. While the Treasury and the IRS expect that these amendments will eliminate the use of a Circular 230 disclaimer in email and other documents, from a professional liability standpoint it may be prudent to continue use of a revised disclaimer.
