Eric McMillen, CEO and Chief Security Architect, The McMillen Group, LLC
Eric McMillen is the CEO and Chief Security Architect with The McMillen Group, LLC headquartered in Plano, Texas. He has been consulting for the last ten years of his 15-year career. Eric’s expertise includes hacker attacks and defenses, the information security industry, and computer privacy issues. He has performed numerous penetration tests, vulnerability assessments, security audits and architecture reviews for clients in financial, accounting, healthcare, and other industries. Prior to forming The McMillen Group, he was a Manager in both the Network Security and Infrastructure practice and the National Information Systems Assurance practice for BDO Seidman, LLP, an international accounting and consulting practice; previously, he was the Chief Technology Officer for an international consulting firm, specializing in the Accounting and Professional Services sector. He is also a Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP), has published numerous articles, and is often an invited speaker at various industry conferences.
Christian James, Co-Founder, Xcentric
Christian James is the co-founder and COO of Xcentric. He is a seasoned veteran, having worked in the technology industry for the past 14 years and with CPAs for the past 13 years. Prior to starting Xcentric, Christian served as Director of Technology for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Fort Worth and then became the lead technology engineer at CPA Systems in Atlanta, Georgia after selling his first business Covenant Systems. Christian spent 10 years in the Atlanta area before moving to Bozeman, Montana where he opened an Xcentric office. Christian has a business degree from Texas Wesleyan University and was recognized in The CPA Practice Advisor’s “Top 40 Under 40” in 2011-2014.

Roman Kepczyk offers over 25 years of CPA firm experience where he has thrived as a technology consultant and as a former partner at one of the largest firms in Arizona. His primary focus at Xcentric is helping firms utilize technology by implementing today’s digital best practices. He is an Advisory Board Member to the CPA Firm Management Association (formerly the Association for Accounting Administration), former Chairman of the AICPA Information Technology Executive Committee and a former member of the PCPS Executive Committee. Roman has been recognized in INSIDE Public Accounting’s “Most Recommended Consultants” to the profession from 2004-2014, CPA Practice Advisor’s “Top 25 Thought Leaders” from 2010-2015, and Accounting Today’s “Top 100 Most Influential People in Accounting” for nine years. CANCELLATION POLICY
“No-shows” will forfeit 100% of the registration fee. In addition, any hotel cancellation penalties will be the responsibility of the registrant. Cancellations received on or after November 1, 2015 will not receive a refund. Cancellations received prior to November 1, 2015 will receive a refund less a $150 cancellation fee.
