Looking for a challenging and rewarding career opportunity in a growing, reputable CPA firm in Chicago's northern suburbs? We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Firm Administrator to join our team of 40 to lead and manage the day-to-day operations.
In this position, you will work closely with the Managing Partner to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the firm. Your responsibilities will include overseeing all office operations such as:
- Key processes and procedures
- Technology/software
- Human resources
- Group and firm insurance
- Payroll
- Finance and accounting
- Recruiting
- Management of six administrative team members
The ideal candidate for this position will have previous experience in a supervisory role at a professional service firm, will be nimble, flexible and have a strong focus on problem solving and attention to detail.
Key Requirements for this position:
- Experience in Public Accounting or other professional services firm
- A minimum of ten years of professional and managerial experience
- Ability to manage assigned tasks, follow through to completion, and problem solve
- Able to establish and maintain effective working relationship with associates and teams
- High level of interpersonal skills to handle confidential situations and documentation
- High level of understanding of technology, including proficiency with Office 365 and Adobe Acrobat
- Ability to work additional hours as needed, including overtime and weekend hours required during busy seasons
