Steve McDonald, Managing Partner, Abdo

Steve joined the Firm in 1991 after graduating from Minot State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting.  He currently serves as Managing Partner and during his tenure the firm has grown to a top 15 Minnesota accounting firm and a top 200 firm in the United States.  Steve’s vision of continuous improvement and responsiveness to client needs has resulted leading the firm through several strategic mergers and acquisitions, new service line and industry segment development, and annual double-digit growth. 

Jana Cinnamon, Chief Operating Officer, Partner, Abdo 

Jana, Chief Operating Officer, joined the Firm in 2012. In January 2022, Jana was named Partner at Abdo. As Chief Operating Office, Jana helps lead the day-to-date operations of Abdo. She provides strategic leadership to the Firm’s Human Resources, Marketing, Technology and Administration functions to drive firm growth. Jana uses a people-first approach to implementing positive changes to both the client and employee experience.  

Jana has been recognized as one of the Top 50 Women in Accounting by Practice Ignition, and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the CPA Firm Management Association.
