Course Description
In this webinar we will review the IRS acceptance of e-signatures for form 8879 in 2014. We will also cover how K-1s have historically been distributed and the related issues with these methods. Finally we will ensure you are up-to-date on the IRS Requirements for electronic K-1 distribution and provide a brief demonstration of the award-winning software, SafeSend Returns- the only solution offering automated electronic K-1 distribution.

Presenter Bio(s)
Katie Marquard is the Manager of Sales & Marketing at SafeSend (cPaperless, LLC), a company that provides paperless software tools and consulting service to the accounting profession. She has been with cPaperless for the past six years and has played an important role in building client relationships. Prior to SafeSend Katie worked within the tax and accounting field as an Associate Director at alliantgroup, LP. alliantgroup, LP provides outsourced specialty tax services to accounting firms (mainly in Research & Development Tax Credit studies).

Outside of cPaperless Katie spends her time training for endurance races and cheering on the Cleveland Indians, Cavs and the Browns. She has completed many Olympic distance triathlons, 5 marathons, 2 Half Ironman and 1 Full Ironman.
