Presenter and Moderator Bios
Rick Fisher was the Partner-in-Charge of a top twenty CPA firm for over thirty years. Rick is a CPA, and a SHRM-SCP with over forty years of diversified experience in accounting, finance and human resources. During that period, Rick had a unique combination of responsibilities including recruiting, mentoring, compensation strategies, development of personnel policies, staff scheduling, and budgeting including long range strategic planning. Rick was the plan administrator of the firm’s 401(K) retirement plan, profit-sharing plan and insurance programs. Rick was recognized as the Penn State University, Smeal College of Business Accounting Department Distinguished Alumnus of the Year in 2014.

Joseph Gilchrist specializes in the placement of CPA and Accounting professionals. His background has allowed him to understand the full life cycle recruitment process as well as the technical and professional requirements for these positions. Joseph spent one year with the ADP honing his sales skills but realized very quickly that?recruitment was his real passion. He spent the next two years with a? Global Recruitment Organization where he reached the Senior Consultant level.? He was instrumental in?building a small certified?public accounting recruitment team and establishing a niche for?himself in this market. In his spare time Joseph enjoys spending time with friends, playing sports or hiking and relaxing with family.

Cost

Delivery System

  • All programs are delivered using the Zoom platform.
  • Confirmations will include log-in instructions.
  • Participants are able to participate using any device with an Internet connect (if the device does not have speakers, the participant can also dial-in) or they can participate with audio only by dialing in.
  • All registrants will receive a link to the MAPCast’s recording by email within 48 business hours of event’s conclusion.
  • There will be assistance available to help with technical and connectivity issues up to 10 minutes prior to the start of the presentation.

Registration

All registration is done on-line with the names and email addresses of each individual guest. Log-in details will be emailed to all registrants approximately 1-2 days prior to each session.

Refund Policy

CPAFMA will not issue refunds for MAPCasts. If a registrant is unable to participate in the MAPCast and sends written notice to info@cpafma.org 48 hours prior to the session, a credit will be provided for a future MAPCast. Alert the CPAFMA staff member monitoring the MAPCast if technical difficulties are encountered and technical support will be provided to eliminate problems with future MAPCasts.

Additional Information

Live participation is required for CPE credit and polling questions must be answered to show active participation. All registrants will receive an email following the session with links to the slides and/or handouts, and a link to the MAPCast recording (unless otherwise stated). If you are unable to participate in the live session, you can still watch the recorded session, but you will not be eligible for CPE credits.
