Course Description
For those of you who attended the CPAMA National Practice Management Conference/AICPA ENGAGE, you were probably overwhelmed with all the information that was presented and may not have gotten a chance to ask all of your questions.if you didn’t make it to Las Vegas this year, here’s your opportunity to engage with a panel of experts on practice management topics such as Human Resources Best Practices, Internal and External Marketing & Communications, Risk Management, your involvement in M&A and Succession Planning, Coaching High Potentials and creating a Path to Partner including Business Development and Networking. Please come with your questions as this will be an open panel discussion.
Never before have the fundamental assumptions about the U.S. job market looked so precarious. Automation, artificial intelligence, and robotics, among other technologies, are changing the skills and the skill level required of employees in many industries, including retail, transportation, and manufacturing and CPA firms.
The new generation of CPAs will see changes that we can’t imagine. The industry’s business model will evolve along with the skill sets, but the most important feature of the profession must stay constant: the trust that the public places in CPAs, which recently ranked first in the country, ahead of doctors. It’s up to us to prepare the next generation not only for the dazzling new technologies, but also in the core values that keep the profession on top.
