Course Description

There is a sense of urgency to hire and maintain peak performers in today's rapidly changing, technology-driven global market. Not only are businesses faced with inevitable changes it is mandatory that leaders, managers and associates address existing hurdles such as generational differences as well as geographic differences in the workplace. What is effective in one arena may be a total failure in the other.

Personal accountabilities are crucial not only for a firm to survive but to actually thrive. Pick up on tips, techniques and behaviors that are tried and true regarding elevating your team and workgroups to over-the-top performance all day, every day.

Presenter and Moderator Bios
Peggy Pattison brings over 30 years' experience speaking to a variety of audiences, from corporate CEOs to small town school districts. She has been active in corporate hiring and the development of peak performing work groups and teams and how they can shape a firm's culture. In her many roles, she also coaches CEOs and their executive staffs to achieve greater ROI performance results.

As this millennium unfolds, Peggy has seen the on-going challenges of generational differences as well as cultural differences a globally diverse workforce can create. By sharing proven techniques in growing and maintaining effective leadership, she shows business leaders how to recognize the common thread that pulls a team together, no matter how seemingly polar the situation and how an individual's contribution can and does impact the firm or company's environment.

Peggy hosts a weekly talk radio show outside of Chicago, talking to ordinary people doing extraordinary and inspirational things with their lives. She continues to be featured as a keynote speaker at various corporate seminars and conventions, was recently named the recipient of the "Goddess Artemis Award" presented by the 2007 Euro-American Women's Council Forum in Cypress, Greece and has authored several books and publications regarding peak performance in the workplace.

Delivery System

  • All programs are delivered using the Zoom platform.
  • Confirmations will include log-in instructions.
  • Participants are able to participate using any device with an Internet connect (if the device does not have speakers, the participant can also dial-in) or they can participate with audio only by dialing in.
  • All registrants will receive a link to the MAPCast’s recording by email within 48 business hours of event’s conclusion.
  • There will be assistance available to help with technical and connectivity issues up to 10 minutes prior to the start of the presentation.

Registration

All registration is done on-line with the names and email addresses of each individual guest. Log-in details will be emailed to all registrants approximately 1-2 days prior to each session.

Refund Policy

CPAFMA will not issue refunds for MAPCasts. If a registrant is unable to participate in the MAPCast and sends written notice to info@cpafma.org 48 hours prior to the session, a credit will be provided for a future MAPCast. Alert the CPAFMA staff member monitoring the MAPCast if technical difficulties are encountered and technical support will be provided to eliminate problems with future MAPCasts.

Additional Information

Live participation is required for CPE credit and polling questions must be answered to show active participation. All registrants will receive an email following the session with links to the slides and/or handouts, and a link to the MAPCast recording (unless otherwise stated). If you are unable to participate in the live session, you can still watch the recorded session, but you will not be eligible for CPE credits.
