Course Description

What would you do if a fire, flood, equipment malfunction or pandemic occurred at your office? If you had 15 minutes to evacuate, an infestation, or your office that was uninhabitable for one of a thousand different reasons what would you take and where would you go? Presenter and Moderator Bios
Trevor Mickelson is the CPA Solution Specialist for Agility Recovery. Trevor has a huge passion for helping businesses thrive through revolutionary, yet simple, methods that cost-effectively tackle internal and inherent risks. In 2013 he went looking for an organization that could help him grow as an entrepreneur and business owner, yet have the same level of integrity and solution oriented approach. After much research and persistence, Trevor found Agility and is tremendously excited about the future – “All difficult roads have lead me here - I get to do good every day,” Trevor Mickelson

Prior to Agility, Trevor founded a financial education company that improved the productivity and profitability of local companies while lowering turnover rates and healthcare costs. He focused on educating the employees of small and medium sized businesses to improve their personal financial situation, enabling the business to thrive – Nothing but success stories came from this startup.

A bit more about Trevor, looking back, Trevor is an Eagle Scout, graduated high school as a National Honor Student, was awarded the Sterling Scholar in Art, and was the captain for both water polo and swim teams. Trevor is an Alumnus for the University of California San Diego and was awarded as the Outstanding Senior of the Year for Thurgood Marshall College due to his unique and robust involvement - graduating with a B.S in Human Biology.

Delivery System

  • All programs are delivered using the Zoom platform.
  • Confirmations will include log-in instructions.
  • Participants are able to participate using any device with an Internet connect (if the device does not have speakers, the participant can also dial-in) or they can participate with audio only by dialing in.
  • All registrants will receive a link to the MAPCast’s recording by email within 48 business hours of event’s conclusion.
  • There will be assistance available to help with technical and connectivity issues up to 10 minutes prior to the start of the presentation.

Registration

All registration is done on-line with the names and email addresses of each individual guest. Log-in details will be emailed to all registrants approximately 1-2 days prior to each session.

Refund Policy

CPAFMA will not issue refunds for MAPCasts. If a registrant is unable to participate in the MAPCast and sends written notice to info@cpafma.org 48 hours prior to the session, a credit will be provided for a future MAPCast. Alert the CPAFMA staff member monitoring the MAPCast if technical difficulties are encountered and technical support will be provided to eliminate problems with future MAPCasts.

Additional Information

Live participation is required for CPE credit and polling questions must be answered to show active participation. All registrants will receive an email following the session with links to the slides and/or handouts, and a link to the MAPCast recording (unless otherwise stated). If you are unable to participate in the live session, you can still watch the recorded session, but you will not be eligible for CPE credits.
