Course Description

Personal information (social security numbers, credit card numbers, bank account numbers, even name and address) has become a leading target of cyber criminals. With your client's personal information in your possession, understanding your exposure and taking the appropriate steps to mitigate your liability is essential. This session, Cyber Liability Exposures, will explain the accounting firm's role in keeping data safe and how to protect your firm from lawsuits arising from information security exposures. This session will include information on what is and isn't covered under your professional liability policy and how an employee dishonesty policy and cyber liability policy will fill the gaps. Find out your firm's exposure during this 60-minute session.
