Course Description

Bill Brown and Eigen Heald will cover both accounting and data processing internal controls. This course focuses on the controls you must have in place to effectively manage fraud and security risk in a professional services firm. A discussion of proper cash controls will lead into more specific suggestions for the purchasing, expense reimbursement and fixed asset risk areas. The material on computer controls will encompass both cyber security and information technology controls over data processing and accounting procedures.
